Occasionally, a project or the sorting of a large donation may require a little more man or woman  😉 power! 

Children and teens who like to serve or who are working on obtaining service hours are welcome to participate under parental supervision. Please do not leave children/teens unsupervised and it will be your responsibility to coordinate their tasks. Unfortunately, I have not had the pleasure of meeting all the lovely children in this group and you as a parent have the best knowledge on how best they serve. Small tasks could include: sorting by subject or grade, straightening shelves, sweeping/dusting. As always, the ministry is incredibly blessed by your heart to serve!

August Service Projects

I will be removing books from our 1st – 4th grade shelves to prepare for 2 new cube shelves. This is a necessity as these last two, thin metal shelves become unstable over time and I don’t want us to walk in one day and find them collapsed.

WEEK OF AUG 25TH - AUG 28TH:  I will arrive at the ministry at 8am for a 1 hour working time if anyone is interested to join me; please private message me so that we can arrange to meet at the church parking lot for entrance…I begin my church working hours from 9am-1pm.

SATURDAY, AUG 30TH:  I will be working at the ministry from 8am-2pm to begin assembling the two new IKEA shelving units…helpers would be appreciated! I will also need help pulling out the old metal shelving units and disassembling them.

LABOR DAY - SEPT 1ST:  I will be working in the ministry from 8am-2pm to restock our beautiful new shelves.

Unfortunately, this week will be in transition and many of the 1st-4th grade will be boxed. Please forgive any inconvenience upon your scheduled visit.
